Regulation (EU) 2023/956 – adopted by the co-legislators on 10 May 2023 – establishing a new Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

Further information:
This Regulation establishes a Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) to address greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions embedded in the goods on their importation into the EU customs territory in order to prevent the risk of carbon leakage.
