The ISO 9001 QMS standard is very popular among the ISO 9000 series of standards and is the first Quality Management certification standard. The ISO 9001 standard was first published in the year 1987 by International Organization for Standardization committee, the ISO. This standard specifies the requirements for an effective QMS and deals with the fundamentals of QMS. ISO 9001 standard was based on the BS 5750 series of standards from BSI.

IATF 16949
The International Quality System Standard for Automotive Suppliers (QMS)
We help you obtain your IATF 16949:2016 certificate easily and in a very short time. We are a consultancy specialized in the implementation of Standards, we have extensive experience in the design, implementation and audit of the IATF 16949:2016 standard in all types of companies and sectors.
Quality systems have been deployed in the automotive industry for many years. Companies like Ford, General Motors and Chrysler has developed QS-9000 in the USA, which unified their supplier quality system requirements in a single document. Similarly, Quality system requirements like EAQF, VDA6.1 and AVSQ were developed in France, Germany and Italy.
The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) was established as an initial point, and also had representatives from almost all major European and North American vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and automotive trade associations. The ISO/TS 16949 was created in 1999 to standardize several evaluations and certification processes used in the global automotive supply chain.
IATF 16949:2016 is a stand-alone QMS standard that is completely consistent with the structure and requirements of ISO9001:2015. As a result, the IATF 16949 cannot be used as a standalone document; rather it must be used in conjunction with or as a supplement to ISO 9001:2015.

EASA Part-21
Part 21 regulates the approval of aircraft design and production organisations and the certification of aircraft Products, Parts and Appliances.
In Europe, the design, production and maintenance of aeronautical products is regulated by strict requirements of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). For example, companies that want to operate on the market as independent companies require an operating license from EASA or the national aviation authority.
There is usually a lack of expertise, familiarization with the EASA texts is laborious. Understanding, interpreting and implementing the legal texts in a practical manner almost always causes problems for companies with little or no experience in the aviation industry. This applies to the EASA regulations (implementing rules and their subparts) and in particular to the important interpretation (Guidance material/Acceptable means of compliance-AMC).
If your organization has applied for one these approvals and the agency does not raise any fundamental concerns, you will have to overcome some hurdles in your quality management systems.
The implementation of EASA Approvals therefore means a complicated additional task for every QM representative over many months, processes must also be adjusted throughout the entire company and employees, as well as managers in particular, must be qualified for their tasks.
